  1. Definition and characteristics of review

Peer review is a type of software review in which a work product such as documentation or code are examined by the author and their colleagues in order to evaluate the content and its quality.

2. Activities and roles for each review

Reviewer:

  • Provide unbiased and constructive feedback in a timely manner.                                                                        
  • Ensure the feedback has adequate detail.
  • Create a report based on a report template.

Producer

  • Present the product that is subject to revision in a clear manner (do not hide any important sections or related products).
  • Aid the reviewer in the coding/documenting process.
  • Explain with greater detail, when required by the reviewer. the issues detected.

3. How to review the key work products: plans, requirements, design, and code

Defining checklists previously so its easy to report the observations.
